July, 2007: Just a quick note to thank you for the “New Marketing” training last night. I found it both interesting and comforting in that I was beginning to wonder why the marketing strategies I had employed (magazine ads, flyers, cold calls) were not getting me anywhere. I assumed it was just me! I work with a network marketing company and the way we build our customer base has always been by developing relationships, hosting home demonstrations, and recruiting business builders. It is hard to gain momentum in the industry after you have tapped your warm market. I am hopeful that some of the strategies you discussed might be helpful in this line of business. Mary C.
